Terms of Service

1. What RentTower is

RentTower is a platform that connects house owners with tenants. We provide tools for listing properties, tracking rent, managing tenants, and discovering homes. We do not own, manage, or rent any properties on this platform.

2. Your account

You're responsible for:

• Providing accurate information when signing up
• Keeping your password secure
• All activity that happens on your account

3. For owners

As an owner, you agree to:

• Only list properties you legally own or have authority to rent
• Provide accurate rent, deposit, and availability information
• Respond to tenant interests in good faith
• Not discriminate against tenants based on caste, religion, gender, or ethnicity

4. For tenants

As a tenant, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about yourself
• Not spam owners with fake interests
• Respect the privacy of owners who chose approximate location
• Follow through on interests you send

5. Payments and pricing

Owners get 2 months free. After that:

• Basic: 500 NPR/year
• Pro: 1,000 NPR/year
• Pro Plus: 1,500 NPR/year
• Business: 2,000 NPR/year

International pricing: $5 / $10 / $15 / $20 per year respectively.

Refunds: 14-day refund window for yearly subscriptions. After 14 days, no refunds.

6. What we don't do

• We don't take a cut of your rent
• We don't guarantee that a listing is accurate — verify everything yourself
• We don't mediate disputes between owners and tenants
• We don't act as a broker, agent, or legal advisor

7. Prohibited uses

You may not:

• Post fake listings or impersonate others
• Use the platform for illegal purposes
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Scrape, copy, or resell data
• Reverse engineer the app

Violation may result in account termination without refund.

8. Limitation of liability

RentTower is provided "as is." We are not liable for:

• Disputes between owners and tenants
• Losses from rental transactions
• Inaccurate listing information
• Service interruptions

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use means acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kathmandu.
